To utilize the tools most Amway IBO's have in their pockets, Amway needed to develop a tool that would allow an IBO in the field to quickly assess a person's BMI and daily caloric intake, quickly provide product options that would assist a prospect in reaching their weight goals, and answer frequently asked questions.
Amway provided DVS Interactive with a number of collateral materials including product information, calculations for BMI and daily caloric intake. With that information in hand, DVS Interactive developed a standalone application in .NET that would calculate BMI and daily caloric intake and display the results visually. A product selection guide was developed to assist the IBO in selecting a product based on specific weight loss needs.
The final application runs on iPhone and iTouch, BlackBerry Storm 2 and BlackBerry 8830 and better trackball devices, and of course Google's Droid.
