Steelcase Digital Press Kit

Since 2001, DVS has been providing Steelcase with updates to their NeoCon Digital Press Kit - originally developed in Director. For the 2010 NeoCon event, Steelcase once again turned to DVS not only to update the content within their digital press kit, but to also give it a facelift and rebuild it from scratch to provide better compatibility in modern operating systems.

In designing and developing this new version, we folowed the steelcase brand, chose a very clean approach,and made it eay for users to find the press releases and photography within the application.

The application was developed in Flash providing cross-platform (Mac and Windows) functionality. Additionally, the application utilizes XML making future updates and last minute content changes easier and less costly by reducing or eliminating the need to modify the application source code.

A master was output as a Mac/PC Hybrid CD-ROM which was utilized by DVS Custom for the duplicates which were distributed at NeoCon 2010.
