The first time I was introduced to Facebook Spam was with my church's Facebook page. Our webmaster e-mailed me about an odd post on the wall.
What? Wasn't anybody monitoring our Facebook page? The answer was... no.

At Adobe MAX this year, Adobe previewed it's Flash-to-HTML5 converter tool... and we couldn't be happier about its prospects.
This is why all of those "Flash vs HTML5 vs Flash!" arguments are pretty much pointless... Adobe isn't sitting on its laurels and making you choose one tech over another -- there's no reason HTML5 and Flash shouldn't coexist, and with Adobe's tools to convert complex Flash animations to HTML5 (or even individual resources within those animations!), consumers can choose browsing devices that suit their needs and personal tastes, without having to worry about locking themselves out of potential content on the web!
I often find myself needing to stop processing a page or function in ColdFusion script (<cfscript>), so I thought I'd quickly share this new CF9 keyword:
Using that in a <cfscript> block will effectively do the same thing as <cfabort>. Nothing difficult or really earth shattering, but the number of times I've needed this simple ability and forgotten about it is somewhat embarrassing, so I thought I'd share it with everyone!
As you can see, we've relaunched our website and blog! Instead of two separate web entities, you can now stop by our site to get information on our latest projects, as well as read all of the stellar advice my colleagues and I have to share on all things development, design and web related!
